"Greetings! I'll be going to Claremont McKenna College in California, USA to study Environment, Economics, and Politics. As my major might suggest, my interests lie in the economic and political side of addressing environmental issues. I applied to 5 US universities, 1 in Singapore, and 2 in Japan. Most of my high school life's been spent doing environment-related service, as well as debating ECAs. Hopefully, I can give you a better idea of the application process and unforeseen barriers if you are looking at the USA and Japan based on my experiences and biases.
