“Hi! I will be pursuing a double major in molecular and cell biology and business at UC Berkeley next fall. Aside from my passion for neuroscience, I was deeply interested and heavily involved in global issues ranging from wealth inequality to bioethics and youth advocacy. Applying to both the US, UCs and UK was a lengthy process. Finding a balance was tough and set backs were regular. However, after gaining admissions to both US and UK universities like UC Berkeley and Imperial College London, I wanted to pass on guidance that I wish I had achieved when I started the process.”
