“Hello everyone! I’m David and for the recent application season, I applied to the US, Canada and one school in the Netherlands. I applied as a Visual/Performing/Media Arts applicant to various institutions like UCLA, Boston University, Emerson College and more. This fall, I’ll be attending the University of Southern California, studying Cinema and Media Studies at the USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. My academic interests has always fallen under the Arts but more recently, I’ve been deeply invested in film and television as powerful means of both communication and artistic expression. I strongly feel that film and television is the culmination of all my artistic passions and it’s also a pervasive tool for social transformation, which also interests me because I’m determined in becoming a mediamaker that tackles various social issues pressing our world today.”
